A Bucket of a Different Color

Hello Everyone,

Shane, from Cowabunga Bay, sent me a Photo of the Second Tipping Bucket finished at White Water West in Canada. I also grabbed some shots of the newly completed Mondo while I was down in Draper on Wednesday. There have also been a lot of negative comments about Cowabunga Bay's Pricing. I thought it would be good to Compare all of the 3 Other Major Water Parks along the Wasatch Front to Cowabunga Bay and see how their Pricing Compares.

Some people have wondered why Cowabunga Bay is offering 4 Hour Admission. This is a simple answer, Capacity. Cowabunga Bay wants to keep the Lines Down! Every other water park I've been to in Utah has included waiting in Lines. If you purchase 4 Hour Admission, you will have 4 Hours to experience Cowabunga Bay's Giant RainFortress, All 9 Slides, and Cowabunga River. Cowabunga Bay will also limit the amount of 4 Hour Tickets Sold each Hour to limit the amount of people in the park at one time, reducing the risk of Lines. Therefore, there will be people exiting at the end of each hour while at the same time more people enter the park to enjoy the many attractions. After your 4 Hours are over, you will not be permitted to enter any of the attractions, but you can still enjoy the park as long as you want.

I have a question concerning employment. so I called Cowabunga Bay after it's office hours and it said applicants must be 16. I was wondering why not 14 years of age because at other water parks they hired 15-14 year olds

I don't have an answer at this time, but it may be to avoid any problems that come with the Labor Laws concerning minors under 16.

Do you think they will ever consider hiring under 16?

I would e-mail Cowabunga Bay at info@cowabungabay.com to find out if they will or not. They might just be trying to fill positions now with 16+ before allowing 14+ to apply, but that's just my thought.

Is there a way to get coupons/discounts for Cowabunga Bay? I have 5 kids (and so does my sister in law) and it gets really expensive to pay full price. thanks
