Some people have wondered why Cowabunga Bay is offering 4 Hour Admission. This is a simple answer, Capacity. Cowabunga Bay wants to keep the Lines Down! Every other water park I've been to in Utah has included waiting in Lines. If you purchase 4 Hour Admission, you will have 4 Hours to experience Cowabunga Bay's Giant RainFortress, All 9 Slides, and Cowabunga River. Cowabunga Bay will also limit the amount of 4 Hour Tickets Sold each Hour to limit the amount of people in the park at one time, reducing the risk of Lines. Therefore, there will be people exiting at the end of each hour while at the same time more people enter the park to enjoy the many attractions. After your 4 Hours are over, you will not be permitted to enter any of the attractions, but you can still enjoy the park as long as you want.

The Cat is Out of the Bag!

From Cowabunga Bay Construction Update 04/20/2009

Thanks to KSL-TV, the cat is out of the bag! The new CowabungaBay.com is Live and Employment Information has been posted!

KSL-TV Reporter Alex Cabrero reported on Cowabunga Bay this afternoon, however, he made several mistakes in his Report. The KSL-TV Reporter stated, "A water play structure is different from a water park. It's much smaller and all combined into one structure, instead of spread out over several acres." The Giant Water Play Structure Combines Several Traditional Water Park Attractions and Stacks it on top of Each other into one large compact footprint. He also makes no mention of the Lazy River, Cowabunga River. The KSL-TV Reporter also said, "Then, there's this splash bucket, which every five minutes will fill up and dump some 2,000 gallons of water on people below. Huish says that, too, is the world's biggest." The Largest of the Two Giant Tipping Buckets holds only 1,200 Gallons and will dump every 5-7 Minutes. You can read the Story and Comment on the story on KSL.com by clicking HERE!

The New CowabungaBay.com has gone live and Includes all of the Information you have been waiting for including Admission Prices, Season Pass Pricing, Brithday Parties, and Employment. Cowabunga Bay has also released their Contact Information. Cowabunga Bay can be Contacted by Calling 801.553.1000 or E-mailing them at info@cowabungabay.com

Hello Everyone,

It's been a busy weekend down at the Cowabunga Bay Construction Site! I took some photos on Saturday & Sunday while Shane, from Cowabunga Bay, sent me some Photos of most of Progress that was made today. With all the excitement growing, and more and more cars driving around looking at Cowabunga Bay, I just wanted to remind everyone that Cowabunga Bay is an Active Construction site and not to Tresspass! There is a Construction Fence there for a Reason.....Your Safety! Now, Onto the Details....

Shane, from Cowabunga Bay, wanted me to thank everyone for their Comments and Suggestions concerning the Prices I posted last week. All of the Feedback has been taken into Consideration for when the Final Prices are posted on CowabungaBay.com and the Cowabunga Bay Construction Blog.

I have recieved many e-mails from people inquiring about Employment Oportunities at Cowabunga Bay and I'm happy to report that the Employment Office Trailer has been delivered to the Construction Site. I will post any and all information regarding Employment, Including the Employment Phone Number, as soon as Shane gives me the go ahead. Keep and eye on the Cowabunga Bay Construction Blog and CowabungaBay.com for that Information, which will be posted soon.

Saturday -
I stopped by the Construction Site on Saturday afternoon to see what progress had been made during the week and was excited to find the construction crew installing sections of Bombora! However, while I was there, the Construction Crew ran into an alignment problem with Bombora that will be worked out in the coming days.

Sunday -
I stopped by the Construction Site on Sunday evening, and found Bombora completed and all of Bonzai finished except the drop and shut down lane.

Monday -
Shane sent me some photos of all the progress that was made today! Shane told me that Bonzai was the First Slide Completed (Slide Entry to Shut Down Lane) at Cowabunga Bay! Bombora is Completed, except for the alignment problem. Hang Ten (Green Slide), Hang Five (Blue Slide), Gremlin (Purple Slide), and Mondo (Magenta Slide) are nearly complete and will be finished by the end of the Week!
