Cowabunga Bay Construction Update 02/21/2009

Today was the first time I've dropped by the Cowabunga Bay Construction Site since ground was broken. There's not a whole lot to look at, just some heavy construction equipment, slides, and Dirt. It also looks like some of the actual Structural Components for the Water Play Structure are beginning to Arrive and a Large Pit for the Surge Tank or Pumps has been Dug.

That large purple pole is one of the sections that will hold up the giant bucket 62' up in the air. There are two giant holes on the site now, one is for the surge tanks and the other is for the pump house. There sure is a lot of money that goes underground and gets buried.
